We Were There

I am the union man... Don’t call me a hero Tho’ I was the brother First, down at Ground Zero

Other members came ... From throughout this great land To first honor the fallen ... Then gave the helping hand

To make way through the rubble ... To help forge the way Our brothers an d sisters Worked every night ... 24 hours ... every day

And that was OK However, You see us now ... Standing out here today On the line fighting for others ... For a better wage and a better way

We are the union members ... Who where there in September We’re out there trying to educate ... What it’s like to be a UNION member

So give Jack Laboz a call (212-431-7500) and tell him today ... To share it with the workers ... It’s the American way!!! We are not going away.
