Fierce storms did not stop a crowd of students from the University of North Texas in Denton from attending a panel discussion on 'Media Democracy Day,' Oct. 18. On a table by the doorway were the People’s Weekly World and materials from two organizations that seek honesty in media: The Columbia Journalism Review and Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR).
